Music at Oxford has collaborated with the Jacqueline Du Pré Music Building to create an exciting new festival showcasing the UK's top young musicians on Saturday 24th May. Internationally renowned violinist Levon Chilingirian and pianist Melvyn Tan will host the recitals throughout the day and the evening concert. The carefully selected young artists include a string quartet, pianist, clarinettist, soprano and a baritone. Beyond the music there will be fun activities to enjoy in the beautiful grounds of St. Hilda's College.

Messiaen Centenary Celebrations
To mark the centenary of Olivier Messiaen’s birth, 2008 will see world-wide celebrations. Music at Oxford will be commemorating the legendary composer and organist with an intense program of great organ works with Dame Gillian Weir. You can also hear his famous Quartet For The End Of Time from the exceptional French Connections.

Top violinist Tasmin Little has made the radical move of releasing her latest album for free. Her aim is to introduce more people to classical music and convert sceptics. Hear her play in a rare chamber music project, French Connections, in June.
