Yes, our pop-up box office will be open prior to every concert, and our box office staff will be there to answer any enquiries you have or solve any issues with your tickets.
Please have your e-ticket open on your phone and show it to a steward to gain entry. Alternatively, you can show a print-out of it to a steward.
Yes, you will still be able to gain entrance to the concert. If you have a smartphone and can access your emails, you can show your order confirmation to a steward to gain entrance. Otherwise, please go to the box office and our staff will help you.
When a seating area or an entire venue is sold out, we will open a waiting list. Please call the box office (01865 244806) and they will add your name to the list. If any tickets are returned, we will call the customers on the waiting list in order to see if they would like to buy the available tickets.
If you have tickets that you can no longer use, please call the box office and let them know. If the concert or relevant seating area is sold out, we might be able to re-sell your tickets. If this is the case, you will be refunded.
An area is unreserved when there are no individual seat numbers. When you arrive at the concert, you will be able to choose where you sit within that unreserved area. We do not over-sell unreserved areas so if you have paid for this area, you are guaranteed a seat.
Restricted view tickets mean that your view might be obscured by a pillar or other building feature. If you are unsure about buying a restricted view ticket, please feel free to call the box office and ask for more details about a specific concert.
We do not charge any booking fees on tickets purchased online, over the phone, or at our pop-up venue box offices. We absorb the transaction fees ourselves.
There is no dress code for any of our concerts. We want you to be comfortable so please dress as you wish. We suggest that you consider the venue and the time of year when attending our concerts as some venues (e.g. churches or chapels) can be particularly cold in winter.
If no time has been specified, doors will open 30-45 minutes before the concert starts. Please ensure that you leave enough time to find your seat once you have arrived. If you have a seat in an unreserved seating area, you may wish to arrive early so that you can find a seat you will enjoy for the whole evening. We suggest arriving no later than 15 minutes before the concert time.
Children aged six and above are more than welcome at our concerts. There is, however, no minimum age restriction at the Family Christmas Carol Concert. We offer any under 18s 50% off the ticket price in all seating areas. Please call the box office if you have any questions about bringing children to concerts.
We normally strongly advise against arriving late as we are limited to admitting latecomers at the artist’s discretion. If admittance would cause too much disruption, you might not be admitted until the interval and if the concert does not have an interval, we may have to deny you entry. Please be aware that you will not be refunded if you arrive late and have to miss some or all of the concert.
You are welcome to log any lost property with us and we will do our best to find the item for you. Alternatively, you can contact the venue staff directly, who will keep any lost property at the venue
All our venues are able to accommodate wheelchair users and those with additional access needs. We offer a 50% discount on tickets for those with additional access needs as well as a 50% discount for one carer/companion. Please book your tickets over the phone so that we can make sure your needs are met as closely as possible for each concert. You can find venue-specific access information on our venue pages.
Music at Oxford operates mainly in historic buildings, some of which have restricted access and no cloakroom facilities. For this reason, and in the interests of security, we reserve the right to refuse admission to any concert-goer who attempts to bring large bags, cases, rucksacks or other types of container to any concert. Any decision to refuse entry shall be at the absolute discretion of Music at Oxford’s management. No refund shall be given under these circumstances.
