We want to make sure that exceptional live music is open and available to everyone. We are committed to working towards making sure our events can be enjoyed by as wide an audience as possible, including to those that face physical or mental disabilities, institutional or perceived cultural barriers, or financial limitations.
Music at Oxford uses a variety of different venues across the city, from the medieval to the modern. It is a privilege to play host in some of the world’s most beautiful buildings. Due to the diverse range of venues within the city, each venue can be very different; to ensure that you make the right decision for your needs and comfort, we highly recommend that you familiarise yourself with the venue information before booking. We are always looking for ways to improve access to our concerts so if you have a suggestion, please do let us know.
Facilities
All our venues are accessible for those of varying additional access needs and some of our venues have a hearing loop – for further information about each venue, please see our venues page.
Large print programmes are available on request. If we are to produce a full colour programme, please request your programme at least 10 working days before the concert. If we are producing a standard printed paper programme, we require one working days’ notice. To request a large print programme please email info@musicatoxford.com.
Our website has been designed to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 AA Standard. The guidelines aim to make web content more accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, learning disabilities, cognitive limitations, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity and combination of these.
Discounts
We offer a discount for students and claimants. We also offer a 50% discount on tickets for those with additional access needs and a carer. Please be aware that we may ask to see proof before we apply your discount.
