Point & Counterpoint
Villiers Quartet: Point & CounterpointThe Villiers Quartet celebrate a new venue for Music at Oxford audiences with an exploration of fugal intricacy from musical giants Mozart and Beethoven. They also present a buoyant work from Haydn, the father of the genre, characterised by balance, proportion and order – some perfect music to experience in the finely-crafted surroundings of the Mathematical Institute.
