Music at Oxford’s Christmas Quiz

To keep your brain cells ticking during the haze of mulled wine and carols we’ve created a little Christmas quiz, and thanks to our friends in the city you could win some spectacular prizes if you enter!

It’s simple – we’ve written a short story celebrating our city of Oxford, and some of the beautiful venues and colleges that reside here.

Hidden within the story, between words, and sometimes between paragraphs, you’ll find the names of some Oxford University colleges, and some arts venues in the city- who knew we could squeeze so many in?! Capital letters in the middle of a name don’t invalidate it either.

And if you’re not sure what we mean, look back at the last sentence and you’ll see NEW i.e. New College hidden away within kNEW. That’s the smallest one to find, we promise.

There are 21 college and 7 arts venues to find in total.

Every entry we receive will go into a draw to win one of the following prizes:

HOW TO ENTER

There are 2 ways to enter the quiz:

1. Post us your completed answer form (available in the PDF above) to Music at Oxford, One St Aldates, Oxford, OX1 1DE
2. or complete the following online form: Music at Oxford Christmas Quiz Entry Form

The closing date for submissions is Friday 17 January 2025.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• In order to be eligible for the Christmas Quiz prize draw, you need to have submitted an entry and submitted both your full name and contact email address. You must have found at least one hidden word within the story, but do not need to have found every answer. A donation is not required.
• The prizes are as listed above.
• The prize draw is available for anyone.
• Entry to the prize draw is available for a limited time only. We must receive your completed survey by 11.59pm on Friday 17 January 2025.
• Winners will be chosen at random using a random number generator.
• We will contact the winners within two days of the draw, details will be given at that point as to how you can claim your prize.
• Music at Oxford reserves the right to change the conditions and/or the prize without prior notice.
• Employees and associates of Music at Oxford are not eligible for the prize draw.
• We will indicate on this page when the prize draw has taken place.
