A ravishing programme is conducted by the splendid Michael Collins, who puts his love of the clarinet at the heart of this concert, with a performance of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto by soloist Nicola Boud. This is preceded by two of Mozart’s most vibrant symphonies, a set of his beguiling arias sung by Soraya Mafi and music by his contemporaries. Join us as well for the pre-performance talk featuring Michael, Nicola Boud and Sandy Burnett (current Academy of Ancient Music Hogwood Fellow) at 6:30 pm.
